Rochelle Burnett has owned her own business for seven years and opened Creative Leap, Inc. three years ago with a focus on relationship marketing and internet communications.
Rochelle started her career as a graphic designer with largest real estate company in central Iowa. This job allowed her to gain marketing and internet experience. and it's also where she met her husband!
As Rochelle yearned to expand her horizons, she left the real estate company to become marketing manager for Boyt and Bob Allen, a hunting and shooting apparel manufacturer. She enjoyed the versatility this job offered, and found marketing to be her career passion. Here, Rochelle began designing catalogs, packaging and merchandising materials. She also directed photo shoots, managed tradeshows, designed and scheduled the company's national print advertising, and started the business on its way to using e-commerce for the first time.
With the desire to assist more organizations in their marketing efforts, Rochelle left Boyt to start her own company. Boyt became an instant client for Creative Leap, and is still a client to this day. Rochelle has continued to grow her business and help a wide variety of clients from real estate to the hunting industry to public policy campaigns and beyond.
Creative Director, Kevin Zdenek, believes every business deserves its own unique look, the one that makes it stand out in a sea of competitors. With expertise in corporate branding, web design and development, and catalogs paired with a fine art background and award-winning illustrations, Kevin provides companies with the customized solutions necessary to present a clear and unified message to their target audiences.
Kevin has a B.A. in Graphic Design and more than 12 years of design experience crafting nationally distributed sales campaigns, building brands, and developing internal marketing. He started as a Production Artist in Iowa City before moving with his wife to Des Moines. There he worked for the largest training media company in the country. He started as a Print Coordinator before moving up to a Web/Print Designer and Web Master. For 6 years, Kevin, ran his own freelance design business, and since 2006, Kevin has served as the Creative Director for Creative Leap, Inc..
He lives in Des Moines where he spends his time drawing cartoon characters for his son and sharing vanilla ice cream with his daughter.
